Get to know College of Education

The College of Education is one of the scientific colleges of the University of Sulaimani. The idea of establishing the College of Education was approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This college is always trying to obtain scientific and educational requirements for all teachers and students of the college.

Vision

The College vision is to equip competent educators to work successfully and ethically in a technologically advanced society. Unlike other college graduates, the graduates of the College of Education are fully prepared in terms of science and education to serve education and science in schools. We work to develop learning environments and new teaching methods and adapt them to the new era. The College of Education creates instructional standards based on current best practices as defined by state, national, and international organizations.

Mission

The College of Education aims to develop effective teachers who can lead to successful teaching and learning outcomes in a variety of settings. These teachers must possess a range of effective pedagogical skills developed through field experience. Both basic and advanced-level programs support this goal, which in turn supports the university’s mission.
