بەپێی نوێترین ڕاپۆرتی زانکۆی ستانفۆرد کە لە ناوەڕاستی مانگی ئەیلولی ٢٠٢٤دا بڵاوکراوەتەوە، ١١ مامۆستای زانکۆی سلێمانی لە ڕیزبەندیی ٢٪ی توێژەرانی جیهاندان لە بوارە زانستییەکانی خۆیاندا. دوو توێژەریان مامۆستان لە کۆلێژی پەروەردە، هەریەک لە پ.ی. د. پشتیوان عثمان محمد مامۆستا لە بەشی ماتمایک، پ.ی.د. ڕێبەر طیب عبدالواحد مامۆستا لە بەشی فیزیا.
هەموو ساڵێک، زانکۆی ستانفۆرد، بە هاوبەشی لەگەڵ دامەزراوەی (Elsevier – ئێڵسڤییەر) و بەپشتبەستن بە داتابەیسی (Scopus – سکەوپەس)، کاریگەرترین (١٠٠،٠٠٠) توێژەری جیهان دەستنیشان دەکات و پۆلێنیان دەکات بەسەر ٢٢ بواری سەرەکی و ١٧٤ بواری لاوەکیی زانستیدا. دەستنیشانکردنی توێژەرەکانیش پشتبەستە بە (Composite Score)ی توێژینەوەکانیان، کە ئەویش لەسەر بنەمای ئەم پێوەرانەیە:

ئەم ڕیزبەندییەی زانکۆی ناوبراو هەڵسەنگاندن بۆ توێژینەوەی توێژەران لەماوەی یەک ساڵ و درێژایی ژیانی ئەکادیمیشییان دەکات. ژمارەی ئەو مامۆستایانەی زانکۆی سلێمانی کە پشت بە زانیارییەکانی یەک ساڵیان بەستراوە و چوونەتە ڕیزبەندییەکەی ئەمساڵەوە بریتییە لە (١١) مامۆستا، ئەوانەشی بە پشتبەستن بە درێژایی ژیانی ئەکادیمیشیان دەچنە ناو ڕیزبەندییەکەوە بریتییە لە (٣) مامۆستا، وەک لەم دوو وێنەیەی خوارەوەدا پیشاندراوە.

According to the latest Stanford University report, released in mid-September 2024, 11 professors at the University of Sulaimani rank in the top 2% of the world’s researchers in their fields. Two of the researchers are teachers in the College of Education Dr. Pashtiwan Osman Mohammed Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Dr. Rebar Tayeb Abdulwahid, Lecturer in the Physics Department.
Every year, Stanford University, in partnership with Elsevier, identifies the world’s 100,000 most influential researchers in 22 major and 174 subfields based on the Scopus database. The selection of researchers is based on the Composite Score of their research, which is based on the following criteria:
Total number of references to studies
H-index number
Hm-index number
Number of references to studies written by the researcher alone
Number of references to papers in which the researcher is named as first author
Number of references to papers in which the researcher is listed as the last author
The rankings evaluate researchers’ research over a year and throughout their academic careers. The number of teachers of the University of Sulaimani who are based on their one-year data and entered this year’s ranking is (11) teachers, and those who are based on their academic career is (3) teachers, as shown in the following two pictures.

The Scopes database is one of the most popular databases, which lists the best scientific journals and records the number of references to researchers’ research.
Elsevier is a publishing house and owns the Scopepass database.
